PROFILE: With the grace of Lord Lakshmi Nrisimha and with the blessings of His Holiness Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Divya Paduka Sevaka Srivan Satakopa Sri Narayana Yatindra Mahadesikan, the 45th Jeeyar of Ahobila Math, Sri Malola Vageesa Vani was inagurated on Feb 10,2002, with the following main objectives: 1. To offer Sri Ramanuja's philosophy to our bretheren in a simple language and in a modern perspective and to inculcate in them a sense of belonging to our great satsampadaya. 2. To introduce to our fellow men and women the teachings of the great seers in our Srivaishnava sampradaya i.e, from the Alwars down to our present Acharyas. This is of course the most illustrious guru-parampara.
3.To explain to them the authenticity and greatness of the Vedas and the Divya Prabandas,as well as the Rahasyas created by our acharyas.To convince them that the ultimate goal for every one is to turn our mind to the service of Sriman Narayana and a slow and steady withdrawal from selfish worldliness.
4. The significance of Nithya Karma Anushtana ( daily rites) will be explained. These are necessary to please Sriman Narayana.It will also be made clear that with out the grace of a true Acharya (preceptor), there is no liberation. The concepts of Samasrayana and Sararanagati will be explained.
Sri Malola Vageesa Vani has been engaged in the task of creating awareness of the greatness of Sri Ramanuja's philosophy among Srivaishnavas as well as other astikas.This job is now entering its fourth year.
